R2946105 - 1968-70+ Mopar 340 hp driver's side heat shield & gasket assembly

Material:

Modern corrosion resistant material same as used on the modern Hemi (meets Chrysler specifications). The gage is thicker than originals ensuring better dimensional control and part stiffness.

Validation:

This part was not just manufactured, it is engineered and tested on a running 340 engine with multiple variables to ensure function and used FUJI pressure mapping to assess bead geometry.

Assembly

The parts are assembled using BTM Tog-L-Lock technology rather than the old "grommet" coining. This is a much stronger and durable method.
